Juha Snell Oy is a Finnish family-owned company that has been manufacturing aluminium boats since 1974. The company was originally founded as a subcontractor for the Kellokoski Ironworks, and the first Faster boat, the Faster 440, was launched in 1978. In 1982, as the Rajalinna industrial area in Kellokoski had been founded, the factory moved to new production premises in Rajalinna, where it’s situated still today. As operations have expanded over the years, additional buildings have been added to the site. The most recent addition stood completed in 2017.

In 2024, Juha Snell Oy celebrated its 50th anniversary – half a century of craftsmanship, durable boatbuilding and innovation in Finland and from Finland. The same family continues to lead the company, now in its third generation.
